Meet the Team
Jim Harrison founded the company in 1980 and continues to work daily. In addition to company management, Jim uses his expertise as a fully qualified bricklayer to manage all types of projects. Structural alterations and new build a speciality.
Director James A Harrison started with the company as an apprentice Joiner. Since then he has obtained many professional qualifications such as HNC in Building and Construction and SMSTS. He has accreditations in Abestos, Health and Safety and First Aid amongst others.
James specialises in planning applications and residential projects and advises on best practice and cost effective methods.
John has worked for the company for over 20 years starting as a joiner before returning to college to further his career. He has a vast knowledge of all types of projects including residential, commercial, health authority and local authority works aided by his trade background.
During his time working with our clients he has advised on schemes from conception to completion and is a valued member of the team. John has built up excellent working relationships with all clients.
Office support and first point of call for customers is provided by Director Caroline Harrison, Alison Lillie, and Kayley Robinson. Customers can be assured of a friendly welcome and helpful advice.
We directly employ skilled and experienced tradesmen covering bricklaying, joinery, painting and decorating, tiling, plumbing, roofing and ground work.
All employees receive regular training to keep their skills up to date and J.E.Harrison has always been committed to the training of apprentices, with four young people currently undergoing training.
